What balcony care covers
Plants in pots rely on you for everything the ground would otherwise give them. Each visit covers what they cannot do for themselves.

Why pots are different
A balcony is a harder place to grow than it looks
Wind strips moisture from leaves, sun bounces off glass and concrete, and a pot holds only a few days of water. Plants that would cope happily in a garden bed can decline quickly several floors up.
We look after the plants you have, and where something keeps struggling we suggest a replacement that suits the exposure, so the balcony looks good without constant replanting.

Questions about balcony and apartment gardens
Do you work in apartment buildings?
Yes. We just need to know how to reach the balcony, whether a lift or loading dock has to be booked, and any building rules about work hours.
How often should balcony plants be looked after?
Most balconies do well with a monthly visit. In a hot, windy summer pots can dry out between visits, and a simple drip system can carry them through.
Which plants cope best on a windy balcony?
Tough, compact plants with small or leathery leaves usually handle wind best. Soft, large leaved plants tend to tear and scorch. We suggest plants to suit your balcony’s exposure.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Clippings, old potting mix and leaves are carried out, and the space is swept before we leave.
